We always try to save a tooth first. When a tooth is too damaged or infected to repair, removing it protects your other teeth and your health.
When a tooth has to come out
Severe decay, a deep crack, advanced gum disease or crowding can all mean a tooth is better removed. We will show you why and talk through the alternatives first.
After the extraction
You go home with clear instructions for the first days. We also talk about replacing the tooth — a bridge, a denture or an implant — so the gap does not cause problems later.
