Dental cleaning and exams
A cleaning removes the plaque and tartar a toothbrush cannot, and an exam finds problems while they are still small. Together they are the base of every healthy mouth.
What happens at the visit
We examine your teeth, gums and mouth, take X-rays only when they are needed, and clean and polish your teeth. If something needs attention, we show you and explain your options.
How often to come
For most people every six months is right. If your gums or teeth need closer watching, we may suggest a shorter interval.
