Dental sealants
Sealants are a thin coating painted onto the chewing surfaces of the back teeth. They keep food and bacteria out of the deep grooves a toothbrush cannot reach.
Who they are for
Children and teenagers benefit most, as soon as their permanent molars come in. Adults with deep grooves and no fillings in those teeth can have them too.
Quick and painless
There is no drilling and no numbing. The tooth is cleaned, the sealant is painted on, and a light sets it hard in seconds.
